Industrial tools
have been used in the industries for a very long time and have been making the
job of the workers in the industries easy, fast and accurate. There are many
types of industrial tools that are used extensively by the workers. Without the
presence of these tools, the productivity of the workers would be very low and
the industries would suffer losses due to lower productivity and efficiency of
the workers.
Basically, there
are two types of tools used in the modern industries. One is fixed or heavy
tools, which are used for operation, which need a lot of pressure and force
like punching, pressing, cutting heavy metal sheets and several others. Other
type of tools used in the industries is portable or handheld tools. These tools
are lighter in weight and can be carried by the workers to any part of the
industry for doing any type of operations.
The handheld
tools are the best friends of a worker as they give him the liberty to take
them to various sections of the industry and do his work faster and easier and
with a great precision. The basic handheld tools used by the workers are-
Electric
Welding sets: The electric welding sets are used
for joining any broken parts or components of metal in any part of the
industry. It is a great tool and can save you a lot of time and money by
repairing broken parts and avoiding the need of a new one. The welding sets
produce a very high degree of heat that puts molten metal between two metal
sheets giving you a very strong joint.
Hand grinders: The hand grinders are mainly used for filing operations and giving
the metal surface a fine finish. They can be taken to any section in the
industry as they are very light and small in size. They can also be used for
cutting small metal parts and sheets. Without the hand grinders, it will take
hours for a worker to give a metal surface a mirror finish.
Electric Drills: An electric drill is a tool that is used for
production of holes of varying size. These holes are made for placement of
various parts and fixtures, and also, for placing metal screws in the metal
surface. With hand, it takes a lot of time to make some holes and they are also
not very accurate in terms of size and alignment. An electric drill saves you a
lot of time.
Tool
Balancers: A tools balancer is the equipment that
is used to hold the handheld tools. In this way, the workers can keep their
hand free for other tasks. The tools balancers contain a metal wire
along with a hook on one end. This hook is used for holding the tools. The
metal wire is contained in a circular way inside a metal casing. The metal
casing also contains a spring, which controls the movement of the wire holding
the tool. With the help of tool balancers, a worker can easily pull the tool
down and do his work and after the task is completed, then the tools is again
pulled back automatically easing the task of the worker.
