• Before you are planning an use, it is necessary for the expanders to be lubricated. A suggestion is to be using the prescribed lubricants by the manufacturers. A water soluble lubricant would be used for such purposes. For such solvents, it is possible to be achieving the desired consistency, when you are mixing it with proportions of water. • When it comes to the rotation speed of an expander it has a crucial role to play in the expansion process. If you fail to choose an ideal speed it may decrease the speed of the tools and the tube may be expanded as per your requirements. A high speed may result in the generation of excessive heat which would be having a major impact on such tools.

• After every usage give sufficient time for an expander to cool down. Before storing them you need to clean them with the proper solvents. An ideal practice is to have a couple of expanders in the kit. One of them would cool down whereas the other one would be working.
