Various types of tools and equipments used in any industry

In any industry, you will find a variety of tools and equipments that are used for daily tasks. These industrial equipments are very important and essential for any industry to make it run efficiently and smoothly. The industrial tools are the best friends of every worker as they allow them do their work in very less time and with great accuracy without putting much effort. There are two types of tools that are used in industries viz.

Machine tools and hand held tools.

The machine tools are very heavy and are not very easy to move frequently, hence they are fixed at one place and the work-piece is brought to the machine tools for various operations. The machine tools that are widely used in industries include lathe machines, drilling machines, milling machines, computer numeric controls etc.

The handheld tools use for performing smaller yet important operations in industries. These smaller operations determine the quality of products as well as the safety of workers at the workplace. The handheld tools in the industries are discussed further below. 

Welding sets

Welding is the process of the making string and durable joints between the metal parts and metal sheets. Welding is performed by inserting molten metal between the metal parts to join them together. Welding is done through various methods such as electricity, gas welding, arc welding, MIG welding etc. 

Grinders

Grinders are usually used for removing a thin layer of metal from the metal products for various purposes. These purposes include giving a shiny and lustrous look to the products along smooth texture. Grinders are also used for reducing the size of a metal part to a very small degree. It is also done to eliminate the open ends of metal for safety reasons. Some types of grinders that are used in industries include cylindrical grinders, hand grinders and angle grinders. 

Wrenches

Wrenches are used for bolting operations in industries. Bolting operation determines the quality of the end products and also is responsible for maintaining maximum safety level at the workplace. The various types of wrenches that are used in industries include impact wrenches, pipe wrenches, torque wrenches, open end wrenches, box wrenches, etc. The impact wrenches are very powerful and are used for some sturdy operations, hence specially designed heavy duty sockets called impact sockets or power sockets as normal sockets cannot bear such high impacts and can shatter in very less time, which is another safety threat for the workers. The torque wrenches provide you very high functionality and accuracy along with high power as they are equipped with a digital or analogue display, which helps in determining the force applied by the wrench.  

Apart from that other industrial tools that are used extensively include drill machines, digital generators and many others without whom industries cannot survive for a long time.
