Industrial tools have been serving various industries from a long time. No industry can work or operate on its full efficiency without the industrial tools. In order to run in an efficient and productive way, industries need various types of tools to perform various operations on a daily basis. The industrial tools are also very good friends of workers in that industry. They allow the workers to work in a faster and efficient way, which increases their efficiency and productivity, as well. There are basically two types of industrial tools used in industries of various tasks- machine tools and handheld tools.
The machine tools are usually very heavy tools and are used for very heavy operations needing very high force. They are so heavy to move that they are fixed at one place in the industry and the work piece is brought to the machines for any type of machining. These heavy machine tools include lathe machines, hydraulic presses, milling machines, etc.
Another type of industrial tools that are used in industries is the hand held tools. These tools are light weight and can be carried to any part of the industry for working. They are used for performing smaller, but an important task which does not need very high force and can be performed through small tools. Some of the handheld tools used in industries are discussed below.
Drill machines
When you need to put a fastener to fasten a fixture to a particular place, you need to make a hole at that place and a drill machine is used to do that. A drill machine comes in various power and capacities and the drilling bits used for drilling are also available in a variety of sizes to perform drilling for different hole sizes. Although the process of drilling can be done manually, yet it will take more time and will be done with very less accuracy.
Welding sets
Welding is done to join two different metal pieces and creates a string and long lasting joint. This process is performed by inserting a small amount of molten metal between the two metal parts which need to be joined. Welding is done through many ways such as electric welding, MIG welding, Arc welding, etc.
Wrenches
Wrenches are used for tightening or loosening the fasteners at a particular place. There are different types of wrenches used in industries such as open end wrenches, impact wrenches, torque wrenches, box end wrenches and pipe wrenches. The torque wrenches are the most precise and most preferred wrenches for industrial works. Apart from that, nut splitters are also used for moving jammed nuts smoothly and safely.
Along with these tools, other types of tools that are used in industries greatly include tool balances, grinders and many others, which make day-to-day working of industries smoother and easier.
