Torque wrenches use a radial force to rotate the fastener leading to its loosening or tightening. The torque wrenches are used in operation in which there is a need for very high precision and accuracy. The best thing about torque wrenches that make them highly accurate and precise is the metre provided on them to read the force applied on the fastener. This allows you to determine when to stop applying force on the fastener. This prevents over tightening of fasteners and prevents them from breakage. Torque wrenches are available in three types, which are simple, pneumatic and hydraulic torque wrench. If you want quite and accurate operations, torque wrenches are best for you.
Nut splitters
One of the major problems is to remove a jammed nut from the assembly. When a nut gets jammed, you need to hammer it to remove it from the place but this can cause damage to the assembly. A nut splitter can help in removing a jammed nut from its place without causing any damage to the assembly. It is also good for places where inflammable substances or gases are involved as it does not create any sparks during operation making it a safer alternative for removing jammed nuts and fasteners.
